ABOUT ME
Tanéa Tajiri (1992) works as a freelance creative project coordinator and advisor for organizations such as SEADS, Minitopia, Incitamentum, and the Shinkichi Tajiri Estate. She graduated from the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht in 2015 with a BA in Visual Arts & Design Management. Her background and expertise revolve around coordinating interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary projects in the realms of art, design, and innovative housing concepts.
CREATIVE PROJECT COORDINATION
Her upbringing within a multi-generational family of artists has afforded Tanéa a distinctive insight into the creative process. She recognizes the essential role of an intermediary who not only comprehends and values artists' perspectives, but also possesses the ability to bridge the gap between creative concepts and project coordination within the cultural sector. Since 2015, she has been diligently pursuing her vision and actively collaborating with diverse artists and cultural institutions on various projects. This journey has honed her skills in project management, problem-solving, branding, communications, and networking.
INTERIOR DESIGN
In 2022, Tanéa achieved her degree as an interior designer. Embracing this role, she holds the belief that interiors serve as reflections of one's personality and identity. Each object and personal element within a space tells a story or invokes a memory. Consequently, the alignment of an interior with one's lifestyle and true self remains paramount.
For her, interior design is a means to create a space where you can truly feel at home. It's a place where a balance is struck between ambiance and taste, while also being practical and meeting the intended purpose of the space. This varies for everyone, which is why she considers a personalized approach to be crucial.
